Although bench testing is a service provided by GCI, it is not a requirement. Prior to oxidant injection at every GCI site, GCI conducts free reactivity, decomposition, and other tests to define a site specific oxidant/catalyst package. GCI uses the results from these tests designed to optimize the reaction and maximize contaminant destruction.
